This growth of evil not only will affect the world around us! It also reveals that oppression and deception, including apostasy and division within the Body of Christ, will become more intense as the devil has more liberties to challenge and make it difficult for believers to operate in the Word (see 2 Thes 2:7). Due to this present danger, the saints must strengthen themselves in the realm of the reborn spirit, so the Holy Ghost can generate a greater anointing of God’s Presence that will create a volcanic eruption not only to contain the opposition, but also to go forward and destroy it. That’s why the Lord in Isaiah 27 says: “…let them come to Me for protection. Let them make peace (i.e. be in harmony, agreement) with Me. Yes, let them make peace with Me” (Isaiah 27:5 GWT). And what is the Lord saying here? During these end times, we must grab hold of God’s irresistible power to deliver us from an invisible conspiracy working undercover that the intellectual eye of the flesh – ruled by logic and reason – cannot see, whose purpose is to blind us from seeing the truth and overthrow our faith in God. So, what is it that God expects from us? Well, as far as the Lord Jesus is concerned, it is only when we cling and act on His Word that our Savior will have the legal right to intervene, protect us, and stop suffering as well as destruction from coming into our lives. Remember, the crisis of the moment is not the real problem, it only presents the opportunity to see how you are going to react in the midst of the trial. The problem only becomes impossible when you see it from the natural and refuse to follow the dictates of the Spirit. Therefore, the Lord wants you to operate from inside the Holy Ghost having faith regardless of how impossible and hopeless the situation might be. And this demands for you to look continuously into His Word by only giving evidence of what He wants you to believe and say without rationalizing its context. Keep in mind that logic and common sense is the avenue that Satan uses to bring anxiety and bondage in our minds. In other words, supernatural faith is being so persuaded about the promises of God that we act on them without leaning into our own understanding, relying on the symptoms of our bodies, as well as depending on the circumstances around for approval. So, instead of assessing the facts logically, you must switch frequencies by letting the scriptures fill your images and thoughts at all times with the Mind of Christ, especially when you are being attacked with the suggestions of the accuser: “For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly (i.e. intellectual, physical), but powerful through God for the tearing down of strongholds. We are tearing down false arguments (i.e. of the enemy)” (2 Corinthians 10:4 TLV). The Bible provides a multitude of promises that will minister God’s irresistible power and arm you with the Sword of the Spirit (the speaking of the Word – rhema), when you are being encountered with suggestions of guilt, doubt, inability, hatred, disease, depression, pride, defeat, failure, grief, and hopeless situations. And this will only happen if you make the thinking, envisioning and speaking of the Word your best weapon of defense and offense. Believer, you can do it! Christ is inside your reborn spirit-man constantly building you up through His resurrection power and everlasting love. If you’re willing, He will provide the strength that breaks through all opposition for you to arise through faith and escape Satan’s deadly gravity that is continually pulling you down into the world of reason and the senses, so you can soar triumphantly (and effortlessly) like an eagle into God’s heavenly places above the problems. To sum up, whether it is peace of mind, healing, provision for your needs, or deliverance from a circumstantial crisis, it doesn’t matter. During these perilous times, your believing and speaking of the Word will become the best weapon of war for you to be the head and not the tale, as well as to stay above and not below, thus allowing the Spirit to intervene and manifest His blessings once the trial of your faith comes to an end. Furthermore, you will also become an asset in God’s hands to minister to those who are in need of healing and deliverance, as well as bringing the unsaved to the Kingdom. If we do, then the following scripture will be fulfilled in our lives: “Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]” (Ephesians 6:13 Amplified). It’s just as simple as that. Amen!
